Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

PetMotion ("we", "us") turns a photo of your pet into an animated live wallpaper. The service is operated by Pavel Dovgopol, Ukraine (an individual). Contact for all privacy questions: support@petmotionlive.app.

2. What we collect

• Account data: your email address, used to sign you in with a one-time code.
• Content you upload: the pet photos you choose to animate (and anything that appears in them), and the videos we generate from them.
• Job data: the motion style you choose, status and timestamps of each generation, an internal cost estimate, and a technical request identifier. We keep a minimal record of each generation to enforce usage limits and budgets.
• Photo quality analysis: we may automatically analyze a photo (for example whether the pet's face is visible) to suggest suitable motion styles. The result is stored with the job.
• Device storage: the app stores some preferences and saved items in your browser's local storage (for example notification and sound settings and wallpapers saved on your device).
• Usage statistics: we use privacy-friendly website analytics (Cloudflare Web Analytics) that does not use cookies and does not track you across sites.

We do not sell your data and we do not use your photos to train our own models.

3. How we use it

To sign you in, generate and show your wallpapers, send you an email when a wallpaper is ready, apply fair-use limits and cost controls, keep the service secure and working, and improve motion styles using aggregated statistics.

4. Service providers (processors)

We use these providers to run the service:

• Supabase (database, authentication, file storage).
• Cloudflare (hosting, network security, analytics).
• fal.ai (AI video and image generation): your photo is sent to fal.ai through a temporary private link to create the video.
• Google (Gemini API): may be used for the automatic photo analysis described above.
• OpenAI: may be used as a fallback for photo analysis.
• Resend (sending sign-in and notification emails).

These providers process data on our behalf under their own terms and privacy policies, and may process data in countries outside yours, including the United States and the European Union. Copies held by these providers follow their retention rules, which we cannot control.

5. Retention and deletion

We keep your photos, videos and account data until you delete them or your account. You can delete a single wallpaper in My PetMotions; this removes its photo and video files, and we keep only a minimal usage record (style, status, cost estimate, timestamps) so the usage limits cannot be reset. You can delete your account in Account → Delete account; this permanently removes your photos, videos, job records, analysis records and your sign-in. Backups and third-party copies may persist for a limited time after deletion. We may also automatically remove old files that are no longer needed. You can also email support@petmotionlive.app to request deletion.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live (including the EU/EEA and Ukraine) you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your data, to object to or restrict processing, and to complain to your data protection authority. Contact support@petmotionlive.app; we will respond within a reasonable time (generally within 30 days).

7. Legal bases (EU/EEA users)

Performing the service you request (contract), our legitimate interests in security, abuse prevention and cost control, and your consent where we ask for it (for example optional notifications).

8. Children

The service is not intended for people under 16. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Security

Files are stored privately and are only accessible to your account through short-lived links. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

10. International transfers

Your data may be processed outside your country by the providers listed above, with the safeguards those providers offer.

11. Changes

We may update this policy; the effective date above shows the latest version. Material changes will be announced in the service.
